Receive Love. Give Love. Repeat.

All are welcome no matter where you are on your journey of faith.

Burke Presbyterian Church welcomes everyone – inclusive of age, race, ability, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity and stage of belief. This is not a watered down, one size fits all welcome. It is a commitment to the imagination, dignity, hospitality, healing, courage and community modeled by Jesus.

Ministries

Our church is alive with ministries for all ages. Check out our programs for children, youth, and adults for ways we worship, learn about our faith, make music together, and serve our neighbors. We hope you find Burke Presbyterian Church a place that feels like home.

Visitors to our outdoor labyrinth are welcome at any time. It’s in the pine grove adjacent to the upper parking lot, near the cross. Looking for more information? Contact the church office at…

But in fact it is no longer I who do it but sin that dwells within me. For I know that the good does not dwell within me, that is, in my flesh. For the desire to do the…

Go Forth: Out of Compassion

Matthew 9:35-38 Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and curing every disease and every sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

Inclusion at BPC

As we the members of BPC, live into our motto of “Receive Love, Give Love, Repeat” you will notice that we are making some visible changes to signify that we are an inclusive and affirming church. To share this news with our neighbors, we will display signs at the corner and driveway entrance, add welcoming stickers to our entrance doors and be listed on the More Light Presbyterians website. To learn more about these updates, please reach out to any Session member. You can also visit the More Light Presbyterian website.
