This Sunday is All Saints’ Sunday.
Please join us this Sunday, November 3 to celebrate All Saints’ Day. You will be invited to light a candle in honor or in memory of a beloved Saint in your life and plant a daffodil in our memorial garden.
- Plant a daffodil in our Memorial Garden We invite you to plant a bulb in the BPC Memorial Garden after one of our Sunday morning services. This is a way to embody our hope and plant our faith in good soil, so that we actively await the new life that is to come. BPC volunteers have prepared holes for the bulbs in the memorial garden along the path, but we invite your hands to finish the work.
- Light a candle. During our Sunday morning worship services, you will be invited to light a candle in honor of or in memory of a beloved saint in your life.
- Leave a legacy of love in this community. Is the church in your will or planned giving? This is one of the best ways to leave a lasting legacy in this community so that the ministries which have touched your life will remain strong for years to come. Please speak with your financial advisor or family lawyer to set this up. Even writing it as an intention in your will documents helps your family know your wishes.
- Did you know that BPC has a memorial garden? Your loved one’s ashes can be buried there and a round stone, engraved with their name and dates, can be placed there as a lasting marker of their life. It is a beautiful place to visit, so close to the congregation that misses them as well.
- Live into the Priesthood of all believers. Presbyterians believe that all people have the ability to be saints. We all are able to give of ourselves. If you haven’t made an estimate of giving for 2025, consider doing so. Giving is less about what the church needs, although that is certainly important, but more a source of freedom and joy in our lives, as well as a timeless practice of our faith.
