Many of us find the outdoors to be a place of spiritual connection and renewal. You are invited to a hike on Saturday, April 1 to share that love of nature and see the ephemeral blooming of the Virginia bluebells. This hike, a loop about 3 miles long, includes bridges, rocks, and some elevation changes, so wear appropriate shoes and bring water. All ages are welcome (but strollers are not advised on this route), as well as leashed pets who get along well with others. After the hike, we’ll celebrate by picnicking at Paradise Springs Winery (where dogs are welcome outside). Hikers will be able to grab food/supplies from your cars, and there should be a food truck on site.
If you’re planning to join us for the hike, meet up at 9:30am at the Occoquan-Bull Run Trailhead (13220 Yates Ford Rd in Clifton).
If you prefer to join us later for the picnic, come to Paradise Springs Winery (13219 Yates Ford Road, Clifton) around 12:00pm.
Please RSVP to the church office and/or Andrea Ham.
