This visit is part of the Interreligious Communities Project (ICP) Northern Virginia with Sharing Sacred Spaces and local host Rumi Forum.
Join BPC and six other faith communities for a visit to Chinmaya Somnath Hindu Ashram and Temple in Chantilly. Our congregation is participating in an interreligious effort to bring together faith communities to build understanding and solidarity across differences.
We’ll explore the ashram and temple, learn about their teachings of oneness, and dialogue over a meal.
All are welcome! Come learn about Hinduism and our neighbors. RSVP is required; please register at www.sharingsacredspaces.org/events.
Chinmaya Mission follows the Vedic teacher-student tradition and makes available the ageless wisdom of Advaita Vedanta, the knowledge of universal oneness, providing the tools to realize the wisdom in one’s life. As a spiritual movement, Chinmaya Mission aims for inner growth at individual and collective levels.
Questions can be directed to Sacred Spaces coordinator Vanessa Avery at vanessa@sharingsacredspaces.org or to BPC liaisons Lauren Falkenstein or Lucinda Sexton. To connect to Lauren and Lucinda, please contact the BPC church office at 703-764-0456 or office@BurkePresChurch.org.
